# Ratings, Scores & Progress Tracking

MTVL gives you granular tools to record how far you have progressed in any piece of media, score it, and write personal reflections.

## Tracking Progress

### TV Shows (Episode Tracking)

* **Episodes Watched**: Increment your episode count using quick `+` buttons directly on the media card or dialog.
* **Auto-Completion**: When `episodes_watched` reaches `total_episodes`, the app prompts you to automatically transition status to **Completed**.
* **Seasons & Episodes**: View current season progress alongside total show volume.

### Books (Page Tracking)

* **Pages Read**: Input exact page numbers (e.g. Page 342 of 650).
* **Progress Percentage**: Visual progress bars automatically calculate completion percentage (`pages_read / total_pages * 100`).

## Scoring & Ratings

* **Scale**: Ratings range from **1 to 10** (or 0 for unrated).
* **Interactive Star Rating**: Click or drag star controls to set scores.
* **Score Distribution**: The Stats Dashboard aggregates your scores to display your average rating and score breakdown chart.

## Personal Notes & Review

Every entry in your personal list includes a private markdown-capable **Notes** field:

* Record your personal thoughts, favorite quotes, review drafts, or timestamps.
* Notes are strictly private to your account and never displayed publicly.
